Paul's Take:

Real Estate investing is the single best source for wealth.  More millionaires are built from real estate than any other investment method.  Real Estate investing is extremely diverse - from buying HUD homes to developing raw land to acquiring high yield tax lien certificates with the intent to foreclose.  Research is key to any form of investment - along side (of course) understanding the field in which you are practicing.  Do not depend on so called experts who charge you high fees to "learn the system".  There are a great deal of free sources for information - like books at your local library, to real estate forums on the internet.  The worst thing you can do is throw your money away on courses and training and have nothing to invest.
